Beatrix Lee is a trans woman living and writing in Chicago, IL. A PhD school dropout born in a place that no longer exists, she has lived a peripatetic gay life through Michigan, Tennessee, Washington, and California. Beatrix creates hybrid works of poetry, creative nonfiction, collage, and sound about faggotry, the metaphysical, trans memory, and the ends of the world. Her poetry has appeared in DREGINALD and her essay in the anthology Ethnopornography explores how bodies that were never there and memories unrepresented and unfulfilled haunt gay cultural productions.
